Jaritza M. Lima, LMT, MLD-C

Jaritza, CEO of Destress Yourself, is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist. In addition to obtaining her Massage Therapy License, she received a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) with an endorsement in post-operative care by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and has a certification in Emsculpting, RF Skin Tightening & Body Contouring from the Medical Aesthetics division of the Swedish Institute. Jaritza brings over 8 years of experience in a number of modalities which made her the perfect candidate to be your companion in your health & wellness journey!

Prior to opening Destress Yourself, Jaritza worked for several massage therapy offices and corporations and held positions in increasing responsibility. She went from the reception desk, to serving as a therapist, became a shift supervisor, then lastly became the office manager for several years.

Her goal is to provide a space to her clients where they can let go. Providing an opportunity for everyone to escape their day-to-day lives, be in the moment for a moment and allow you to give back to yourself - leaving the tension, anxiety, and pain on the table.  In addition her passion for Massage Therapy, Jaritza has also taken a keen interest in providing clients with the ability to look and feel their best with both the medical and esthetic benefits of manual lymphatic drainage. 

She firmly believes that a relaxed mind, body and spirit leads to a better you. Period. Deeply rooted in providing each client with the personal and individual attention they deserve, she brings her charismatic personality to ensure each client feels welcomed, whether they are new or seasoned.

Jaritza is a mother of two, Graysen and Zayden, and a proud step-mother of two, Michael and Aiden

Jaritza holds an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies from the Swedish Institute.
